MOL (Mitsui OSK Lines) has changed its name to MOL ACE (MOL Auto Carrier Express). MOL will start using MOL ACE as its new car carrier service's name by July 1, 2015. MOL company operates in more than 140 countries having agencies and offices all over the world. Also, MOL's car carrier service includes around 120 car carriers. Back in days, MOL was the first who introduced newbuilding hybrid car carrier.

Panama Canal's improvements

Grupo Unidos por el Canal is planning to expand Panama Canal. The construction is expected to be completed in December 2015. It was announced, that the third set of lock is scheduled to open this week, so the main constructor warned about 4-day flood that is expected due to this opening. As per Grupo Unidos por el Canal, it will give them the opportunity to test the first 2 chambers, which will be totally flooded during this time. This process will be repeating with each ready set of locks from both sides: Atlantic and Pacific.
Panama Canal's will have totally 16 gates, per 8 from each side. Please note, the project cost is USD 5.2 billion.
