Next Generation Terminal is being developed in Canada, Sydney

China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) has joined to Canadian Harbor-Port Development Partners (HPDP) team for developing a new terminal in Nova Scotia. Moreover, Chinese partners will provide new equipment such as container cranes and gantries, as well as design  and engineering.

Project is going to take several years and few billion of investment.
The terminal is expected to operate with ultra large container vessels using its highly automated facility. Let us remind you, that HPDP was given an exclusive right to develop Sydney terminal, including building all related facilities of its logistic park.

East Port Said Channel will be ready by the end of 2016

As it was announced, East Port Said will be upgraded due to $60 mln channel project. Agreement was signed on November, 25 between Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) and Suez Canal Authority (SCA), which is 55% owned by Maersk's APM Terminals.

According to the project,  the updated port and new side canal will allow vessels to cross the East Port Said immediately instead of waiting in line for 7 hours. Construction work of the new side channel will stat next week.
