The British Columbia Port of Prince Rupert is going to create about 5000 new jobs that will be directly related to port operations. The plan is to expand the port infrastructure and to make it one of the leading North American ports for trading.

The goal is to increase its capacity to over than 100 million cargo tonnes per year, that will bring USD 59 million annually. According to the port authority, by 2025 there will be created 4780 full time jobs and also a great job is done to attract new investments.
