The zero-emission container vessel Yara Birkeland has been delivered to its owner Yara International of Norway.

According to the shipbuilder Vard: “We were tasked with building a vessel prepared for autonomous operation which Yara will further develop until launch. The hull was built by Vard Braila and initially the plans for outfitting and delivery was for Vard Brevik, later transferred to Vard Brattvaag,” 

The hull of the Yara Birkeland was launched to sea at Vard Braila in Romania in February 2020. COVID-19 delayed the completion of the project. Even as of today, further work is needed before the vessel is capable of fully autonomous operation. Yara Birkeland measures 80 meters in length and 15 meters in width, with a capacity of 120 standard 20-foot containers (TEU). It is scheduled to ship cargo from Yara’s Porsgrunn production plant to Brevik and Larvik.

Step 1 is registration on the website - https://www.auctionexport.com/en/Profile/Register Complete the registration form and Verify your AuctionExport profile by email. 

Step 2 - crediting your AuctionExport profile with the minimum initial deposit.
To start buying and have access to all the options and features available online, your balance should be not less than $600. This money will be part of the full payment if you buy. If you don't buy, you can take it back from your profile at any time.

Step 3 - choosing your car.

Step 4 - finalizing your purchase.
Once your car has been reserved for you, you get the invoice which will include the car's price, shipping and other charges. We must receive the difference between the invoice and your deposit within 3 days.

Step 5 - picking up your car at the port in your country in 45-60 days.
After the purchase has been made, our shipping department receives your file and arranges the inland delivery and then the ocean shipping from the car's place to your country. We also handle documents; you will receive the package with all original documents 5-7 days before the vessel, with your car on board, reaches your destination.
